A New Luxury Hotel in Sathorn Blending Japanese Omotenashi with Contemporary Bangkok Living

Bangkok welcomes a major new hospitality landmark as Grand Nikko Bangkok Sathorn officially opens its doors from April 10, 2026. Marking the highly anticipated debut of the Grand Nikko brand in Thailand, the hotel introduces a refined interpretation of Japanese hospitality in one of the city’s most prestigious districts.

Strategically located on South Sathorn Road, the hotel sits at the heart of Bangkok’s business and lifestyle hub, offering seamless access to embassies, office towers, cultural attractions, and nightlife. It is approximately a 10-minute walk from Chong Nonsi BTS Skytrain station and around 40 minutes by car from Suvarnabhumi International Airport, making it an ideal base for both business and leisure travelers.
The opening follows a phased approach, allowing guests to experience a carefully curated stay from the outset, while additional signature facilities and services will be introduced progressively in the coming months.

The hotel features 405 guestrooms and suites, including 36 extended-stay residences, each thoughtfully designed to reflect the elegance of Japanese aesthetics combined with modern comfort. Rooms are equipped with premium amenities such as TOTO WASHLET, smart TVs, and Nespresso coffee machines, complemented by expansive views of Bangkok’s dynamic skyline.
Dining at the hotel is designed to offer variety and character across multiple venues. SANUK, the all-day dining restaurant, takes inspiration from the Thai concept of enjoyment, presenting a relaxed yet refined setting. Guests can enjoy everything from breakfast to à la carte selections for lunch and dinner, with a menu that blends international favorites, Thai classics, and Mediterranean influences.

ICHO delivers a distinctive teppanyaki experience, where chefs prepare each dish with precision on an iron plate right in front of guests. Seasonal ingredients sourced from both Japan and Thailand are highlighted to showcase natural flavors and refined textures.
For elevated evenings, TENKU 33 offers a rooftop bar experience above the city, where crafted cocktails, flavorful dishes, and panoramic skyline views come together to create a memorable atmosphere. Meanwhile, LA-MUN serves as a stylish coffee and patisserie destination, offering freshly baked creations daily, premium chocolates, and flavor pairings inspired by both Thai and Japanese culinary traditions.

Beyond dining, the hotel’s facilities are designed to support both relaxation and wellness. Guests can unwind at the outdoor swimming pool, complete with a sun deck and sweeping city views, or maintain their routine at the fully equipped fitness center featuring cardio and strength-training equipment. A dedicated yoga studio also provides a calm space for mindful movement.
As part of its phased opening, several signature experiences are set to launch soon. These include Benkay, the hotel’s innovative Japanese fine dining restaurant, the TENKU 33 outdoor garden, divana Spa developed in collaboration with divana®, and the Nikko Club Lounge, which will offer an exclusive, elevated experience for guests staying in selected room categories.

To celebrate its debut, the hotel introduces a limited-time Commemorative Opening Package for stays starting from April 10, 2026. The package includes complimentary daily breakfast, up to THB 1,500 dining credit per room per night for food, late check-out until 4:00 PM subject to availability, and an additional 10% discount for One Harmony members.
As the first Grand Nikko property in Thailand, Grand Nikko Bangkok Sathorn represents a significant milestone for the brand’s expansion in Southeast Asia. With its commitment to the art of Omotenashi, the hotel brings a new level of thoughtful, detail-driven service to Bangkok, positioning itself as a compelling new choice for travelers seeking both sophistication and authenticity in the city.
