Bluport Kicks Off “Start of Pride” with Energy, Equality, and Wellness
Pride Month 2025 begins with purpose, color, and compassion as Bluport Hua Hin joins forces with Proud Group, iWelty Club, and a network of public and private sector allies to present “Bluport Hua Hin: Start of Pride – Come as you are, leave with a healed heart.”
This landmark event is Thailand’s first-ever Pride celebration centered on holistic wellness — combining physical activity, mental health, and heartfelt support for the LGBTQIA+ community under the theme “Pride Active & Wellness.”
A Wellness-Driven Celebration of Pride in Hua Hin
Held throughout June 2025, the event transforms Bluport Hua Hin into a vibrant hub for movement, mindfulness, and meaningful connection. It reflects a growing shift in Pride celebrations worldwide — from pure festivity to deeper community impact, focused on healing and inclusivity.
The highlight of the launch was the “Hua Hin Pride Walk & Run” on June 1, where locals and visitors gathered at the scenic Hua Hin beach. The event was officially opened by H.E. Suwat Liptapanlop, former Deputy Prime Minister of Thailand, alongside Mr. Preeda Sukjai, Deputy Governor of Prachuap Khiri Khan, both of whom reinforced Hua Hin’s commitment to being a safe, inclusive, and welcoming destination for travelers of all identities.
The walk was more than symbolic — it was a vibrant show of unity, equality, and energy. Celebrities such as Pingpong–Thongchai Thongkhamtom, Tina–Supanart Jittaleela, Silvy–Pavida Moriggi, and Patcha–Chanudom Suksatit added color and charisma, while Sarah Salola’s evening mini-concert sealed the day with music, love, and joy.
Adding to the inclusive atmosphere, the event welcomed pets and their owners, reinforcing Bluport’s dedication to pet-friendly community spaces.
Wellness, Talks, and Emotional Healing: A Multifaceted Pride Experience
The “Start of Pride” initiative wasn’t just about celebration — it offered a holistic experience that addressed body, mind, and soul:
- Wellness Experience by iWelty – Daily yoga, Pilates, and sound healing sessions brought attendees together through movement and mindfulness.
- PRIDE TALK – Prominent LGBTQIA+ voices shared their personal journeys, encouraging open dialogue and acceptance.
- “Full of Heart” Art Exhibition – An emotional and intimate space inviting visitors to heal, reflect, and embrace their authentic selves.
The entire initiative reflected a sincere effort to create a safe space — one where everyone, regardless of identity, could feel seen, supported, and celebrated.
