Jaras Hua Hin at InterContinental Hua Hin Resort delights diners with a contemporary twist on Thai cuisine and pairs it with time-honoured service traditions.


Jaras brings the diverse flavours, textures and aromas of Thai cuisine to life in a stylish beachfront setting, where your meal completed with personalised service and an extensive selection of old and new worlds wine. The cellar selection features local wines to vintage top drops and classics, Jaras Hua Hin cater to the most discerning of palates.
Menus at Jaras emphasise seasonal, locally sourced ingredients, many from the resort’s home province of Prachuap Khiri Khan. Signatures include freshly caught seafood from nearby fishing villages as well as fine caviar from local aquaculture farms. Chefs’ recipes and dish presentations likewise reflect Hua Hin’s distinctive culinary traditions.




Jaras Hua Hin brings to life local traditions in many ways. Along with fine cuisine, the décor likewise evokes the area’s cultural heritage, as seen here in this wall painting inspired by the resort’s own La Residence villa. The colourful visual narrative depicts architectural styles in addition to elements of everyday 19th-century life such as clothing fashions, work and leisure activities, and even the kinds of pets and other animals local residents might have kept. Also shown is a typical day at surfside during the era including horseback riding on the beach, a pastime still enjoyed to this day in Hua Hin.




The hand-painted installation is by Artslonga, a group specialising in murals, sculptures and other works illuminating the cultural history of Thailand’s cities and communities.
Menus feature Thai-style sharing options along with à la carte choices. Signature dishes include Hua Hin Caviar & Golden Cup, Hua Hin Sturgeon, Traditional Khun Ya Jaraspim Liptapanlop sauce recipe (Pad Thai Khun Ya Goong Yang), Hua Hin crabmeat Salad and so on, prepared with the freshest local and regional ingredients. Menus take inspiration from Hua Hin community traditions and emphasise fresh-caught seafood supplied by surrounding fishing villages including fine caviar from local farm.

CoCco Bar at InterContinental Hua Hin Resort recently opened October 2021, next door from Jaras Hua Hin is a lifestyle beach venue featuring Thai-inspired food and drink in a distinctive Art Deco-influenced setting.
With a beachfront location, adjacent to the resort’s swimming pool, Coco Bar will become a favourite feature bar complete with fireside and cabana settings.
Design features include early modernist-era motifs with a tropical twist in everything from the interior presentation to the specialised glassware and exotic lighting.



Guests can choose from a diverse range of food and drink options to enjoy. All-day service begins in the early morning with healthy breakfast options, then extend into afternoon with salads, bar snacks and more. As the sun sets and the lights of Hua Hin’s fishing fleet on the gulf horizon set the scene, evenings at Coco Bar offers Thai specialities such as tom yum pizza to compliment your favourite drink.
