There’s something very zen about % Arabica, especially when reading their journey from inception. The founder’s ethos is simple, really….We only live once, so let’s explore the world we live in, set goals and enjoy our time together over an amazing cup of coffee.
Their tagline is See The World Through Coffee, a simple goal that we can relate to. Moreover, Japan was the first long haul destination for me, as a traveler 2 decades ago. The first % Arabica is in Kyoto, the ancient imperial city. From here, they grew and expanded globally.
They have landed in Bangkok, to much fanfare online. Frequent visitors to Japan connect to the brand almost immediately. It is a seamless recall, and for aspiring visitors – they too excitedly share the news of the opening in Iconsiam. The bright shades of white and the neat lines spoke to the founder’s forte and love in design. An array of merchandise are available and line the outer perimeter walls, ready to be picked up. But first, the coffee…
Menu is divided into 2 big categories: espresso based or drip based coffee. The Spanish Latte came recommended.
Soy milk options for just 10Baht extra plus light bites are available. For a Parisian feel, get the croissant. See the world through coffee right? And yes, the brand has 2 locations in the heart of Paris too.
If you’re here with a team of friends, you can order a few for the best camera shots. Plan ahead for your pictorial choreography or while in queue.
The coffee beans are sourced from their own farm in Hawaii. You can purchase some for your own coffee machine back home too.
We enjoyed the coffee experience and can’t wait to come back. It is the founder’s ethos and the chic design that set this brand apart. % Arabica, we’re with you for this odyssey around the world. Thank you for opening in Bangkok.
