The natural fibers are remarkably durable yet lightweight, allowing artisans to create intricate patterns with extraordinary precision. The process remains highly labor-intensive, requiring patience, technical skill, and years of experience—qualities that mirror the meticulous world of fine jewelry.
Rather than simply combining two crafts, DERMOND and SARNSARD have created a dialogue between them.
The collaboration takes inspiration from DERMOND’s Signature Chic Collection 2025, translating the elegant curves of its iconic earrings into a large-scale woven installation crafted from Pandanus leaves reinforced with sculptural metal structures. The interplay of texture, light, and reflection echoes the brilliance and geometry of a finely cut diamond, demonstrating how traditional materials can express contemporary luxury.
The partnership also introduces the limited-edition DERMOND × SARNSARD Woven To Go Jewelry Pouch, blending handcrafted Thai weaving with refined jewelry aesthetics to create a functional design object that celebrates both heritage and modern living.
