The Standard and Kacey Musgraves, celebrated the 2021 Met Gala with the triumphant return of an eleven-year tradition, its exclusive After-Party at the iconic Boom Boom Room, The Standard, High Line. On the heels of her critically acclaimed “Star Crossed” album release and show-stopping VMA performance, Kacey Musgraves and guests celebrated and danced the night away.
“It feels great to be able to bring back our annual Met Gala after party after such a rough year for fashion and hospitality,” said Amar Lalvani, CEO of The Standard. “The city feels wonderfully vibrant once again. We look forward to celebrating with old and new friends tonight and to re-opening Boom’s doors to the public early next year.”
Boom Boom Room, which shuttered its doors during the pandemic, recently returned for New York Pride with an epic celebration and performance by Madonna and opened again last night to continue its undisputed legacy as the best Met Gala after-party in town. Boom Boom Room will reopen to the public early next year.
